Hey Kids! My name is Chris Whiteley and I really hate writing about pages. You really have to wonder how many profiles one has filled out in their lifetime.
I have been writing on this blog since 2007. Over the course of the years I have been writing on and off about blogging. Originally this was supposed to be a blog about Adsense, but it quickly evolved into something else. Its more of a story about my journey into trying to put some extra cash in my pockets and sharing some of my ideas and findings along the way. As of now the name of the blog “Living on Adsense” is just a metaphor for how challenging it can be to make money its not entirely about living on Adsense.
So about me then: I am a Web Developer, a Blogger, a Father, a Husband and about a billion other descriptive words like most of us. I’m just a regular dude with access to the internet. A person really can’t be properly described on an about page so if you want to really learn about me check out my posts, read the comments, leave a comment and then you can probably actually learn more about me.
About Page from 2007
I am prone to doing really stupid things.
Not cool stupid things like skydiving, STUPID stupid things like quitting your job to make a blog in order to live on a Google Adsense income.
Hi, my name is Chris Whiteley, and I recently quit my job as a successful restaurant manager to pursue a dream of blogging for a living.
I am going to make a living on Google Adsense. People say it can’t be done, and that is why what I am doing is stupid.
My blog will chronicle the ups and the downs of making a living from Google Adsense. I have heard people say that using Adsense to make money is the internet equivalent of standing on the streets begging for change. Who knows maybe I will end up on the streets begging for change.

Living On Adsense
About Page from 2008
I had some trouble paying rent with my adsense earnings. As in I couldn’t do it. I guess I quit my job prematurely. So I went out and found myself a job doing web design, and I put my Living on Adsense Blog on the back burner. I decided to get back into the swing of things near the end of September 2008 when I picked up a copy of Joel Comm’s Adsense Secrets 4 (which at the time of writing this is available for a free download from his site). This book got me back in the mood to build an Adsense empire and helped me start to increase me Adsense Earnings, which I will be keeping track of with Weekly updates and Monthly updates.
So far Living on Adsense is going well, still no chance of quitting my job just yet, but if my earings keep growing at the rate that they are I should be able to quit my job again within the next year (fingers crossed!)
