So really, why shouldn’t I?

Don’t try to re-invent the wheel, don’t take chances, find a mentor to emulate. You have heard all the cliches in the world about how to be successful at making money online, and quite often they make perfect sense, and most often I totally ignore them and march to my own drumbeat. I guess I am stubborn in that respect.

Of course, being stubborn could lead to my downfall…

Today I have decided to listen; I have decided to take notes, pay attention and do what I am told. So why have I decided to start paying attention? It started a few days ago when I received an email from Joel Comm about a new way to make money with your website that is supposed to blow Google Adsense out of the water. I figured that if a Google Adsense guru was getting behind this new method, then it must be good.

Of course when I first received the email, it was Friday, and I had been drowning my sorrow, and lack of Google Adsense success in a frosty [pitcher of] beer.

It wasn’t until this morning that I was able to fully read the email and understand the full potential of this opportunity. I can’t really explain it that well as I am not really an eloquent writer, and wouldn’t be able to detail the full scope of this opportunity, so I have reprinted the email from Joel here:

That brings me to one final concern…

How will people respond to audio ads automatically playing on your
website?

I guess that remains to be seen. The ads ARE short… just five
seconds. And they are supposed to be contextual.

So, I am satisfied with my research and now feel secure giving my
recommendation for NetAudioAds. It could end up being a
win-win-win situation.

So there it is…

I think there is going to be a lot of people divided on this subject, as adding audio to a website will sometimes offend some people. Personally I think it is a great idea. I look at it this way: If someone comes to my site and then hears the 5 second ad, gets offended and then leaves the site, I still get paid. It works the same way with Google Adsense, if someone visits an ad from my site, that person is gone, but I get paid. It makes sense in my brain. Of course I also drink a lot as well.

I am going to give it a shot. I really have nothing to lose as signing up is free and it is super easy to add (and remove) the ads to my site.
