March saw some real growth for the Living on Adsense Blog. I have just gone a bit over the 3 month mark, so I hope to push even more growth through April. I thought the bounce rate was going to be much higher considering that I have been using more of Entrecard, but it appears that a lot of the Entrecard readers have been sticking around (or they have been clicking on the Entrecard ad above the drop area).
As for income I did not come anywhere near the goal for March, the goal was unrealistic. Of course now that means that I have to go find a job and become a part-time blogger. I think it will be good for me though. I have found that a lot of blogs that have started around the same time as me have been doing really well, and from what I can tell it is because they have shelled out cash to advertise and promote their blog. I have not. I have been saving my pennies (of course I haven’t received my cheque from Google as of yet). So now I will be getting a full time job in order to pay off my the rent for missed months, and have some cash to advertise my blog.
Adsense Income
March: Living on Adsense: $9.27
Other Blogs: $27.49
Total for March: $36.76
To Date: $121.13
March: Paid Posts: $36.10
Referals: $157.50
Total for March: $193.6
Total blogging Income: $230.36
I have decided that in order to be successful I need to start pumping out even more blogs. Good Blogs though. I will not succumb to becoming a Splogger. I have decided to build a new blog each week. I bought an eBook (and spent some time in the free forum) called 5 Bucks a Day. It really inspired me and gave me some awesome ideas and motivation to get cracking . I would suggest you check out the site and listen to the audio message, and then head to the forum to learn all you can about the process.
My goal for April is to create 4 blogs that each bring in $5 a day. I figure that if I can keep up making a new (non-spam) blog a week, I should should start to see a big increase in my income. Of course only time will tell.
I am also going to do something I see happen quite often at Bloggernoob.com. I am going to reward those of you that read to the bottom of this post. I am going to randomly choose a comment from the comments left below and reward the person that wrote the comment with $5 (paid through PayPal). Write a comment, win $5.

Free Adsense Secrets

Man, I can’t see how I would ever be able to post on more than one blog per day, much less crank out a new one every week. It’s a nice idea, but it seems a little crazy to me.
And what’s this I hear about five dollah?!?!?!?!
We’re in the same boat- I was trying to live on adsense for some time and two weeks ago had to say, “Enough is enough” I need more food, to be able to pay rent and winter is coming and I need warm clothes. This month, Like you, I’m going over to a day job. I was already working a night job, but they screwed me (I still haven’t been paid for the work I did).
Long term I’m going back to blogging, but I’m using my blog as a spring board for making money out of my writing but using my blog as an advertising platform for my *NEW* book.
Hey, good luck to us both, we could sure do with it = ) I’ve often looked at your blog and said, “Hope he can make it…” becasue if you couldn’t I knew damn well I had no chance.
Love your work, and your efforts don’t go unrecognised,
Cheers,
Tom
BT Cassidy’s last blog post..How to show your love for story.
@Max Miroff: Seems a little crazy? Dude I quit my job to earn an income through Adsense. Now that is crazy
I won’t be posting every day on each one like I do here. I would develop a schedule to keep each blog updated regularly.
@BT Cassidy: Oh great now the pressure is on! I have to make it for both of us now??
We’re Doomed
You should have joined the blog flipping challenge over at the bloggeries forum. I suppose there’s still time if you want to.
It seems fairly similar to what you’re trying to do with the multiple blogs thing, the only difference is instead of keeping them that way, the goal is to quickly sell them off to someone else, so its their problem. Don’t know if thats in the eBook, but our goal is to cross promote the blogs so we can draw in a bigger selling price, and then at the end of two months (which started 4/1) sell it off.
I can’t imagine trying to do a whole bunch of different blogs. Too many different kinds of ideas, at least if I’m only running two I’ll be able to re-hash old ideas if I need to, and I’ll have a good stockpile of them to pull from.
If you want to, feel free to join us. $5 a day doesn’t sound terribly unreasonable, and from what we’ve been discussing, should pull in enough from the sale to pay for your rent (assuming it isn’t terribly high).
Skolor’s last blog post..The Other MMO
@Skolor: I read the thread (maybe you saw the Q’s I posted last week), and I had prepared a ton of ideas for blogs,in order for me to get involved. Then I realized that I would be able to let go of any MMO blog that I would create. I just love the topic too much. As far as I know, the winner of round 1 choose the niche for round 2. I may get involved in round 2.
A for doing a whole bunch of blogs: I come up with new ideas everyday for a new blog. I’m pretty sure that if anyone can do it, I can…
…with the help of RedBull
All I can say is: good luck, especially now you plan to work part-time. If you’ll be working part-time AND pumping out more blogs, you’re really gonna have to organise your time reallly really well.
Good luck and I’m sure you’ll keep us posted.
2ThePoint’s last blog post..My Brad-Pitt Penny Fund, plus Month-End (Online) Earnings
You have been making some real progress it seems. I have been working at this blogging thing for about 8 months now and I still haven’t made as much as you did last month. I have been doing this part time though. I find it hard to find the time to do all of the things that I know I need to do to make my blog grow. Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work!

That is not bad for such a young blog. If you keep on going you would make a lot of money. My opinion at least.
esvl’s last blog post..Keep on blogging, if you dont have a blog start one. Ever read this before? Well here are 10 reasons you need to get blogging.
Heh. I’ve never really had a problem with letting stuff go. Its always been a problem with keeping it up. After around 2 months of having a website up, my interest usually starts to wane, and I end up dropping it after a while. With a clear “Sell by end of May” I think I can manage to keep a daily posting schedule on it.
I also think it’ll be good for practice, the first couple months seem to be the hardest, and some practice at that will probably be pretty good for me.

Re - 5 Dollars A Day.
I’ve read that eBook, there’s a better one. Check out the one at 5DollarFormula.com, it’s pretty decent… and best of all free
Congrats!
Stats look pretty nice. Atleast much much better than mine
Referrals are earning you a decent amount. Nice!
I mistakenly clicked submit button!
Also, adsense isnt good because traffic is less at this moment. More traffic will get you more money
Mayank Rocks’s last blog post..40,000 Backlinks In Yahoo
@2ThePoint: That’s working FULL-TIME and still pumping out more blogs.
“Could you pass the Red Bull and Ritlain please?”
@David: Finding time is a bitch alright! Thanks for the kind words .
@esvl: I hope I can pay the rent with “your opinion”
@Skolor: I’m just trying not to bite off more than I can chew! I tend to do that.
@Mayank Rocks: That is all I ever think about: Traffic (and porn on occasion)

i think it’s awesome what you are doing. setting up multiple blogs and updating them will be tough, but in time, they can provide some nice side income. as far as working full time….this is necessary if you want to make real money. don’t fall into the hype of believing that you can make enough to support yourself with blogging income. have the safety of real income, and work your way to increasing your side income. in time, it might be possible to work full time online. until then, we needs to eat! great post, and thanks for the mention. livingonadsense is one of the better blogs out there.
keep it up
bloggernoob’s last blog post..Pay your readers
I just don’t see how you are going to be able to turn out regular posts on multiple blogs while working a regular job. I struggle putting out quality posts for one blog while working. Seems like a daunting task but best of luck.
Shotgun Spratling’s last blog post..‘Final Four Workhorse’ Candidates
@bloggernoob: Thanks for the advice and ego boost. I’m glad this is a great blog…now if it could only make me some cash!!
@Shotgun Spratling: I don’t understand how Prince Adam turned into He-Man, but it happened, just like “The LoA Blog Madness” is going to happen!
and an FYI to all the LoA Peeps: Skolor won the $5 for posting comments for this post. I plan on just cranking out random cash for people who comment. Maybe I will even show some link-luv for the winners. Hell I don’t know what goes on with this blog, it tells me what to do!
If you depend on link or site selling as a form of monetization you will definitely want to increase your http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?url=www.fortunehotels.in Alexa rank, because it will increase your bargaining power when it comes to ad pricing.
@chris.whiteley Best of luck putting it all together and making it happen. And if it works for you, maybe you can be my future inspiration…so there’s some motivation for you right there.
